The 1st annual Shred with Sessions Day took place this past Saturday and Sunday at North Star Ski resort. The event was an amazing success with over 75 snowboarders and skiers showing up to meet, hang out and ride with the Sessions Team. We arrived at North Star on Saturday to find over 8 inches of new snow on the mountain so we spent the morning riding Lookout Mountain and the stash. After a quick lunch break courtesy of Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, we met up with another group of kids for afternoon runs in the park and stash.
Sunday greeted us with warm temps and sunny skies. It seemed as though the nice weather brought the people out in droves. We all met up at the Sessions tent at ten and headed to the park. It’s pretty cool to see a pack of thirty people cruising through the park hitting every jump, bump, rail and box that stood in their way. At the end of the day legs were tired, boots wet, stickers gone, autographs signed and everyone had huge smiles on their faces. Thanks to North Star, Wahoo’s and 92.3 for being a part of Shred with Sessions and a special thanks to everyone that came out to Shred with the Sessions Team!
