Sport Swappin' at Woodward Copper
After doing double corks and 9's all year, some times you need to just take it back to the basics. Due to some rain and the hot summer conditions the jumps were a little slow and it seemed that some mellow jibbing was a better fit for the day. Tim and Matt decided to swap sports and try their hand in some sport swap jibbin! Turns out they might just switch over for good!

Updates From Woodward at Copper
On Monday Sessions team members Tim Humphreys and Matt Walker rolled out to Copper Mountain, CO to stoke some kids out at the new Woodward ski and snowboard camp. The camp features every thing you can imagine for helping you to learn new tricks, were talkin' tramps, foam pits, Snowflex jumps and rails, cliff drops and even bowls and mini ramps for skating. Not only do they have the indoor training but they also have and sick outdoor slope with real snow. What more can you really ask for? We kicked off the trip with the Matt Walker "Bluntvitational" which challenged the skiers to float the dopest blunt grab over their 30 footer and the winner takes home a Sessions outerwear jacket, and the snowboard side Tim challenged the campers to a butter box challenge where the best butter took home a pair of Sessions pants. Kids came out stoked and most definitely threw it down on the first day and set the tone for a high level of riding for the rest of the week! check out some of the highlights from our trip!

Sessions team hits up DOS (Department of Skateboarding) in Portland
The rain was falling on Thursday afternoon so we decided it wasn't worth trying to go up the hill and ride. Instead of being lazy and staying in the house and watching movies we (Sessions & Dangerzone crew) rolled down to the Department of Skateboarding for some indoor street course action. At first glance none of us really wanted to skate the park because it didn't have much tranny to ride and none of us were street skaters. Well, we had driven all this way and we had to try and make it work somehow so thats exactly what we did. After a short warm up on the manual pad, Nick Visconti from Tahoe Dangerzone started moving some features around and getting creative. At the end of the day the skating level picked up and people started going off! We ended up getting some sweet shots that day so everything turned for the better after all. Check out the pictures from the day below.

Day 1 Windells Recap
Today we kicked of the first day of the Windells session one featuring the Sessions and Dangerzone crew's. When we showed up at the mountain the weather wasn't looking so good but it turned out to be a pretty good day overall. There was some moderate clouds and wind, but nothing that we hadn't seen before. The kids were stoked to be out no matter what the conditions and some crazy stuff was already starting to go down!
